eProsima is working with engineers at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) within the TNET (Time-Sensitive Network Embedded Technology) initiative, a research effort exploring the use of Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) Ethernet for future spacecraft communication architectures.
eProsima is contributing safety‑critical communication technology to “AutomatedTrain” – a research and development project by Digitale Schiene Deutschland (DB InfraGO AG) and eight other partners. The project is testing the fully automated, driverless dispatching and stabling of trains as well as their automated preparation and shutdown. Within the “Safe Onboard High Performance Compute Platform” subproject, Safe DDS supports the definition of requirements towards a certification‑ready onboard computing architecture for future fully automated trains.
eProsima is proud to announce that Safe DDS has been adopted by GMV in an R&D project funded by the European Space Agency (ESA) under the Future Launchers Preparatory Programme (FLPP).
The Development Centre for Ship Technology and Transport Systems (DST), based in Duisburg, Germany, has adopted Fast DDS as the core communication middleware in its flagship platforms for research and development in inland navigation automation: the virtual test environment VERA and the scaled demonstrator ELLA.
